In August, 2006 Audi announced the arrival of the second generation S3. The second generation Audi S3 - type 8 P, is driven by a modified and uprated Gruppen-Sourced of Volkswagen 2.0 l Turbocharged FSI carburettor engine with a maximum production of 195 kilowatts (265 HP; 261 bhp). As with the whole Audi page model the design was done in-plant by quattro Ltd. The engine shows uprated high achievement pistons, revised increase / fuel cartographic explaining, enlarged turbocharger size (KKK K04) and bigger intercooler in the leading role. The strongest form of this far used engine, and quattro of four-wheel drive, does since 0-100-Kph-Zeit (from 0-62 miles per hour) from 5.5 see, and an electronically limited top speed of 250 Kph (155 miles per hour).
